Brian Scott Autry

Mr. Brian Scott Autry, 46, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Atrium-Main. He was born September 24, 1977 in Charlotte, NC , a son of William L. Hinson Jr. and Margie Autry Robinson. Mr. Autry was a graduate of Buford High School and Texas A&M University. He served our country in the U.S. Army. He loved his two boys very much and enjoyed going to Dave & Busters. Mr. Autry was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Houston Astros. He loved dirt track racing and having cookouts with his family. Mr. Autry loved his family and enjoyed hosting events, especially Christmas.A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Autry will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clark Crump and Rev. Vincent Bos officiating.Mr. Autry is survived by two sons, Bryce Autry and Brody Autry both of Lancaster; the mother of his children, Paige Autry of Lancaster; his father, William L. Hinson, Jr. of Lancaster; his mother, Margie Robinson of Lancaster; a sister, Crystal Autry (Dale) of Lancaster; three brothers, William L. Hinson, III “Pooh” (Jessica), James Horne (Donna) and David Horne “Bo” (Michelle) all of Lancaster; nieces and nephews, BJ, Brittany, Blake, Colt, Ansleigh, Cheyne, Mason and Kayleigh; special friend, Scottie Watts; Aunts, Pat, Nina; and Uncle Terry. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Guy Robinson; paternal grandparents, William L., Sr. and Myrtle Hinson; and his aunt, Betty Baker.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Lancaster Funeral Home.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Autry.Read Obituary
