Mr. Darin Jay Jenkins, 21, of Hartsville passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Carolina Pines. He was born July 11, 2002 in Lancaster, a son of Johnny Ray Jenkins and the late Daphene Barrett Jenkins. Jay was loved greatly by everyone that knew him. He loved listening to country music, riding on the golf cart and spending time with his family.A service to celebrate the life of Jay will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 1 p.m. from the graveside at Lancaster Memorial Park with the Rev. Todd Robinson officiating.Jay is survived by his father, Johnny Ray Jenkins of Lancaster; two sisters, Misty Jenkins Moore and her husband Kevin of Lancaster and Sheila Jenkins Miles and her husband Jason of Darlington; three nieces, Julie Miles, Kellyn Shook and Kayleigh Jenkins; and a nephew, Brandon Miles.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Jay.Read Obituary

Sweet little baby Jay. I’ll never forget meeting you sweet boy. Aunt Daphene and Uncle Johnny loved you so very much. I loved to hear updates about you from my mom. May you rest easy, and I can only imagine you running into Heaven to your mama. So sorry for your loss Uncle Johnny. We will not be able to attend but you are in our prayers.
