Jimmy Paul

Mr. Jimmy Paul, 86, of Lancaster, widower of Mae Small Paul and Rosemary Paul, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024. He was born June 1, 1937 in Latta, SC a son of the late Shepard and Della Caulder Paul. Mr. Paul loved the Gamecocks, gardening, fishing, hunting, coffee, going to the flea market, and especially his dogs, Angel and Boy. He loved his family very much. Mr. Paul, retired from Springs Grace Bleachery Inc. and he owned and operated Paul’s Produce. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Paul will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 3 p.m. at the Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Teddy Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mr. Paul is survived by three daughters, Vickia Taboada and her husband Manny of Statesville, NC, Amanda Adams and her husband Marvin of Richburg, and Marilyn Rice and her husband Curtis of Spindale, NC; a sister, Virginia Othner of Lugoff, S.C.; and a special nephew, Darrell Woodell of Leesville, SC, thirteen grandchildren, Chuckey Deese, Mark Deese, Sandy Martin, Tod Smith, Ted Smith, Timmy Smith, Dannie Smith, Sharon Connell, Connie Smith, Chad Channell, Kevin Channell, Tara Sykes, and Kimberly Smith; thirty eight great grandchildren; twenty four great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wives, he is preceded in death by two sons; Dannie Smith, and Ronnie Smith, brothers; Henry Paul and Johnnie Paul, sisters; Louis Troupe, Leasie Tyner, and Evelyn Walker. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
